NETGEAR switches old for new

 • 24 June, 2005 09:26

Sydney, Australia (June 24, 2005) – NETGEAR (Nasdaq: NTGR) a leading provider of easy to use, high-performance networking products, strengthens its attack on the corporate space with the release of a new offer that allows customers to trade in their old switches for new NETGEAR models.

Under the ‘Trade Up’ offer, any business that trades in redundant Cisco, 3Com, HP or Nortel switches before July 31 will receive up to $100 off a new NETGEAR managed switch. NETGEAR guarantees that its switches will work with any existing network infrastructure and legacy equipment, or it will give customers a full credit to the value of the product.

“After Y2K, many companies undertook a radical equipment refresh,” said Katrina Myles, Business Development Manager, NETGEAR. “Now, five years on, these systems have again become dated and need upgrading. Our new offer provides business with an easy and affordable way to refresh old hardware and take advantage of the latest switching technology. ”

Complementing the Trade Up offer, NETGEAR has also unveiled new corporate pricing that provides customers with significant savings on its business-class products, particularly on its popular range of switches.

“Through unique offers and competitive pricing we continue to provide true value and innovation to local businesses, further strengthening NETGEAR’s position as a corporate solutions and support provider,” said Myles.

A wide selection of NETGEAR’s powerful and feature-rich managed switches are valid under the Trade Up offer, including:
