Intel, the world's largest chip maker, said it disagrees with antitrust allegations made by rival Advanced Micro Devices and said it will continue to operate as it has in the past.
"We unequivocally disagree with AMD's claims," said Paul Otellini, Intel's president and CEO, in a prepared statement.
"Intel has always respected the laws of the countries in which we operate. We compete aggressively and fairly... This will not change," he said in the statement.
The company said it has faced similar antitrust issues in the past and predicted it will be able to resolve the AMD suit "favorably."
