OZtion Offers Zero Cost Listings For Online Auctions

 • 26 August, 2005 14:55

Sydney, Australia – August 26th 2005 – OZtion, an Australian online auction service (www.oztion.com.au), today announced new pricing for organisations and individuals looking to sell products online.

Zero Cost Listings are now available to all registered sellers, including companies looking to sell their products online. OZtion charges nothing to list a product using their Zero Cost Listing, charging a low fee when the item is sold.

Philip Druce, General Manager for OZtion commented, “If you sell technology products and want to increase your sales without spending any money, just list your products on our site. The buyers on our site have been spending up big on MP3 players, mobile phones and computer related equipment for the last 6 months.”

Using a unique, Australian designed and developed online auction system, OZtion has grown rapidly since opening for business on the 1st January 2005. OZtion is currently the 2nd largest online auction site in Australia.

The Zero Cost Listing service allows 3 product pictures and html formatting within the listing. In the unlikely event that a listing doesn’t sell, an automatic relisting feature gives the seller another chance to sell without needing to re-enter information.

OZtion offers unique anti-fraud features for both buyers and sellers, including credit card and address verification services.

Designed to make selling online as painless as possible, OZtion sellers are supported with easy to use listing tools, control over starting prices, flexible auction durations, listing assistance services and Australian based customer support.

Fees are charged when listed items are sold, with fees based on the sale price. For example, a listed item sold at $100 incurs a $3 inc GST fee, while a listed item sold at $2000 incurs a $30 inc GST fee. The maximum fee is $30 inc GST. Full details of pricing can be found at www.oztion.com.au.

Options are available to enhance a Zero Cost Listing, including preferential positioning, and highlighted formatting for the listing. Listing enhancements start from $0.95 inc GST.
