Avalanche - Expands Reseller Program

 • 22 July, 2004 14:32

Melbourne, 22 July. Avalanche Media, one of Australia’s rapidly emerging software distributors, today announced its plans to increase its market reach through the expansion of its reseller program.

Avalanche is inviting vendors across Australia to apply to join its reseller program. Successful applicants are able to profit by reselling Avalanche products, including the highly acclaimed PDF Factory, PDF Factory Pro and FinePrint. Several new products will also be added to the mix later in the year.

The recent price increase for Adobe’s Acrobat products provides increasing opportunities for PDF Factory sales. PDF Factory generates 100% Acrobat compliant documents for a fraction of the investment.

Avalanche resellers receive margin based on a tiered approach - The more you sell the more you make!

"Our technology solutions are in competition with Acrobat but significantly more cost effective whilst file size generated are, as a rule, much smaller. This makes it much more viable to add PDF creation to an organisations standard operating environment.” said Peter Cameron, Avalanche’s Director of Business Development.

“Resellers appointed are likely to be already highly reputable vendors looking for value added products. Avalanche is particularly interested in resellers focusing on specific vertical markets and geographic regions. We are looking to expand our network to a total of around 75 resellers across Australia.”

PDF Factory and PDF Factory Pro offer users a powerful tool for creating documents in the industry standard Portable Document Format (PDF). FinePrint adds valuable capabilities to Windows printing by acting as an intermediary between any Windows application with a print function, and the user’s printer. Both products have extensive user bases both in Australia and overseas.

Avalanche clients include high profiled companies such as, Woolworths, Australian Department of Defence, Lockwood Securities, AEP Industries, State Forests of NSW and SA Government Parliament.

If you can afford the price tag, it is well worth the money. It out performs any other laptop I have tried for gaming, and the transportable design and incredible display also make it ideal for work.
