• 12 July, 2004 11:42

Sydney, Thursday 8th July, 2004: Sharp today announced the release of a new entry-level laser fax machine, bringing the crisp images, high speed and photocopying features of the laser fax into the reach of Australia’s small businesses.

The FO-3150 boasts a massive 1.8MB memory that allows it to send or receive up to 100 pages of fax without intervention, a time-saving feature that makes the machine at home in any office. A 200-sheet paper tray keeps maintenance low, while the 20-sheet automatic document feeder means lengthy faxes can be dispatched automatically with a single press of the machines 10 rapid dial keys.

The fax also prints at a pleasing eight pages per minute, sends and receives faxes at 14,400kbps and is also fast and easy to use courtesy of Sharp’s 4-point Operation Key which makes it possible to access the machine’s most sophisticated functions with a single finger.

The fax is also a copier: up to 50 copies can be made of any document and then automatically sorted. The copy function includes a zoom option to reduce a document to 50% of its original size or produce copies twice the size of the original.

The FO-3150 is on sale now, for $899.00 RRP.

Ends.
