NetComm Offers True Plug-and-Play VoIP Phone Bundle

 • 08 February, 2006 10:28

NetComm, a leading Australian provider of communications products and solutions, has released an easy to install VoIP phone bundle, the V100LS Telephone Adapter/DECT Phone Bundle. The product connects instantly out of the box with any broadband router and the DECT phone station.

“The V100/DECT phone bundle offers users from any technical background the opportunity to reap the benefits of VoIP technology”, said David Stewart, Managing Director of NetComm. “It is literally as easy as connecting two cables together and plugging it into your broadband router. Users will only have to connect the DECT phone base station to a broadband router and their new VoIP service is ready to go almost instantly”.

The V100/DECT Phone Bundle comes pre-configured with a connection to leading VoIP service provider, MyNetPhone, making a true plug-and-play experience for the user. The MyNetPhone account also comes with five dollars of credit, allowing users to make calls straight out of the box.

“The opportunities of VoIP for the home user are endless. There is the potential for consumers to significantly reduce phone bills – in particular overseas call costs,” said David Stewart. “This bundle also provides a cheap alternative to traditional land lines, while delivering the same quality expected from normal telephone services – all ready to go, directly from the box.”

The NetComm V100 provides reliable, real-time Internet voice calls while delivering call quality that is equal to that of normal telephone service. The DECT phone bundled with the V100 is cordless, meaning that users can freely use the phone throughout their home without having the constraints of being connected to a computer, as with other VoIP phone products.

NetComm’s V100LS bundle is now available from computer resellers at a recommended retail price of $179 (including GST). The V100 and DECT phone retail individually for $129 (inc. GST) and $99 (inc. GST) respectively. Product enquiries can be made to NetComm on (02) 9424 2070 or
