• 03 March, 2006 09:48

Hyperion Solutions, the leading provider of Business Performance Management software, has announced the opening of a new Perth office that will focus on servicing the needs of current and future customers in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

In a related announcement, Sharron Falconer has been named Account Manager, WA/SA/NT. She will manage the Perth office and report directly to Hyperion’s Director of Operations ANZ, Thomas Palmer.

Sharron comes to Hyperion from her own sales and marketing practice, where she has marketed Hyperion software since 2002. Prior to her partnership with Hyperion, she worked as an information technology account manager for over 10 years in Western Australia, mainly with Computer Associates and Alphawest. Sharron has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Otago University.

“This new office will bring Hyperion’s national and global resources closer to key customers in Western Australia, and also pave the way for more aggressive business development in this state, as well as South Australia and the Northern Territory,” said Sharron Falconer. “We are located in Central Park in Perth, which gives us convenient access to most of our customers.”

Hyperion’s West Australian customers supported by the new Perth office include Woodside, Argyle Diamonds, Great Southern Plantations, Cooperative Bulk Handling, Griffin Group, Alcoa, WA Department of Treasury and Finance, TiWest, and the WA Department of Planning and Infrastructure. South Australian customers include Newmont, Orlando Wines and BAE Systems.

“The opening of this new office in Perth is part of an ongoing drive by Hyperion to build closer partnerships with customers and ensure their success,” said Thomas Palmer, Director of Operations, ANZ, Hyperion Solutions. “In the first half of our fiscal year we recorded total ANZ revenues that were almost double those of the same period last year. We achieved this by focusing on what is important to our customers. We will continue to listen to their needs and grow our footprint across Australia and New Zealand.”
