LANSA and Integral Solutions Enter Partnership Agreement

 • 06 March, 2006 13:45

LANSA Asia Pacific and Integral Solutions recently joined forces to grow and support software development and integration opportunities across the region, with a specific focus on the IBM midrange market in Australia's state Victoria.

The partnership comes at a time when there is increased focus of IBM iSeries users to Modernize, Extend and Integrate their systems across platforms, an area where Integral Solutions has extensive experience and LANSA can provide the tools and technology support.

The first area of collaboration is to help small and medium sized business extend their existing IT systems to the Web, using LANSA's eCommerce and B2B integration tools. A second area of focus will be to help companies move or extend their systems to Web browser and Windows-smart client applications that are ready for iSeries, pSeries, xSeries, Linux or any other server.

To launch the new partnership, the companies are organizing a joint seminar event, to be held on 23 March, at the IBM Tower Southbank, in Melbourne.

Jeff Cornock, General Manager Integral Solutions, said, "We've noticed an increased interest in our customer base to improve their business processes, but without the need to recruit Java experts, Web Services experts, HTML experts and other technology experts. The typical iSeries shop is pragmatic and focused on
helping their company achieve a business benefit. With LANSA's set of productive tools we can help these companies to very efficiently achieve their goals and simplify their IT infrastructure rather than complicate it."

Paul Gandell, General Manager LANSA Asia Pacific, commented, "We are excited about this relationship as it will allow us to further strengthen our presence in Australia. The addition of Integral Solutions to the LANSA Partner Program, with already over 30 partners across Asia Pacific and coming close to 15 in Australia, is of great benefit to our customers."
