NetComm and MyNetFone Extend Partnership to Tap New Zealand VoIP Market

 • 17 May, 2006 12:48

NetComm, a leading Australian provider of communications products and solutions, has announced the extension of its successful relationship with MyNetFone to tap the emerging VoIP market in New Zealand. The partners will bundle NetComm VoIP phone adapters and handsets with the MyNetFone VoIP service.

“With the take up of VoIP in New Zealand still in a relatively infant state, it seemed a logical move for NetComm and MyNetFone to leverage the huge potential of the market. The VoIP telephone adapter and phone bundle products allow anyone to instantly make low-cost phone calls via the Internet – straight out of the box,” said David Stewart, Managing Director, NetComm. “In addition, NetComm’s recent acquisition of New Zealand’s Dynalink will also assist in the distributing and marketing of the NetComm/MyNetFone branded products.”

“We are excited to enter the New Zealand VoIP market. Like Australia, NZ consumers can now enjoy the benefits and quality of MyNetFone VoIP services. MyNetFone users between Australia and New Zealand can talk to each other any time for free, giving tremendous benefits to many businesses and families across the two countries. Using a MyNetFone soft-phone on their laptop computer, users can travel to the either country and make/receive phone calls just as they would in their home or office. We encourage our customers to exploit the full potential of MyNetFone VoIP services and enjoy the cost saving and convenience,” said Mr Leo Tai, Director of MyNetFone.

NetComm and MyNetFone will initially focus on selling their bundled VoIP products including the VMNF100NZ and the VMNF300NZ that convert your standard digital phone into a VoIP phone, and the VMNF25NZ – a VoIP headset with MyNetFone VoIP soft-phone. All of the products (except for headset) come pre-configured for MyNetFone's award-winning VoIP service, allowing out-of-the-box installation for NZ consumers.

The products will be sold through New Zealand’s largest resellers Harvey Norman and Noel Leemings. Product inquiries can be made to MyNetFone on +64 9 363 3363 or sales@mynetfone.co.nz or Dynalink Modems on 0800 65 3962 (NZ) or support@dynalink.co.nz.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.
