NetComm Announces Latest Addition to PerformaPlus Series of High-End Internet Hardware Products

<p>NetComm, a leading Australian provider of communications products and solutions, has announced the latest addition to its PerformaPlus series of high-end Internet hardware products – the NB9 all-in-one Integrated Access Device (IAD).</p>
<p>The NetComm NB9 is designed for residential and business users and consolidates ADSL2/2+ broadband services, wired networking and VoIP technologies in one simple unit. It joins the same family as the NetComm NB9W and provides the same core functionalities, but is designed for users who prefer a wired product to eliminate the clutter of multiple Internet/networking devices.</p>
<p>“The NB9 shows NetComm’s ongoing commitment to establishing and expanding the PerformaPlus series. It is designed to deliver sharply priced, high performance broadband or computer hardware for the demanding home and small business user without compromising on quality or functionality,” said David Stewart, Managing Director of NetComm.</p>
<p>The NB9 all-in-one IAD is a fully featured ADSL2+ broadband modem, VoIP and router. The unit allows users to call out on either VoIP or landline telephone services and includes a 4-port layer 3 Quality of Server (QoS) router (to maintain VoIP call quality), two FXS Ports (the built-in VoIP gateway), one FXO Port (for PSTN lifeline backup) and a 4-Port LAN switch (allowing for easy connection of multiple wired devices using standard Ethernet cabling).</p>
<p>NetComm's PerformaPlus series is designed to deliver robust performance to handle multiple, processor-intensive Internet applications simultaneously, including VoIP, Video on Demand, High Definition Multimedia Streaming, Web-serving/hosting, On-line gaming etc.</p>
