Franchise management can now be ‘e-nabled’ by Aussie developer

<p>Sydney, 31 August 2006: e-nable Solutions, a leading Australian business mobility solutions and software provider, has announced the launch of its latest software solution, e-nable Your Franchise Management.</p>
<p>e-nable Your Franchise Management™ (eYFM) has been developed in consultation with a number of Australia’s leading Franchise operators and provides a centralised, online and automated business system that allows a franchisor to run their business more effectively while communicating job, revenue and customer data in real-time to, and from, their franchisees.</p>
<p>Paul Starr, CEO of e-nable Solutions, said, “e-nable Your Franchise Management gives franchisors an online system that can drastically reduce the administration overhead that comes with any successful franchise business. For example, eYFM allows a franchisor to manage their franchisee’s lifecycles –tracking assets, renewal dates for insurance policies or registrations, and royalty or system payments. For a franchisee, eYFM also has its own mobile device client based on our e-nable Your Field Service (eYFS) software that runs on a cellular phone, PDA or other mobile device that allows job information to be received remotely, removing the need for franchisees to wait by their fax machine for their next job.”</p>
<p>More widely known for their field service solutions, Mr. Starr explained that eYFM leverages the experience e-nable Solutions has gained over the last 6 years in providing mobile and field force automation solutions to a range of industries.</p>
<p>“Many of our customers operate within a franchise industry, using a combination of our e-nable Your Business (eYB) and e-nable Your Field Service (eYFS) systems to create and manage jobs or work orders, and send them remotely to their franchisees or field staff. The real advancements within eYFM are the inbuilt controls and logic that support the business management itself - simple things such as the sign on process for a new franchisee right through to full revenue and royalty reporting.”</p>
<p>The toolset and underlying technology e-nable Solutions has developed allows them to easily create customised screens, forms and reports.</p>
<p>Mr. Starr explained, “We can create tailored call centre scripts for use when taking a customer’s call, for example, and in supporting internal or outsourced call centres the structure of our system allows the franchisor to provide a consistent level of customer service where in many franchise systems such as home services, this is a key differentiator.”</p>
<p>e-nable Solutions host their solutions from a secure Tier 1 data centre and deliver their software as a service (SaaS), allowing their customers to operate their systems from any connected location.</p>
<p>“Franchisors can now provide their franchisees and their customers with an online self-service ‘portal’ that is a completely integrated extension of their own system. Franchisees can enter and review job, revenue or royalty information, while customers can even log their own jobs and review their progress in real-time,” said Mr. Starr. “With estimates that Australia’s franchise industry contributes about 10 per cent of the national GDP, e-nable Solutions is proud to be a supporting player.”</p>
