Symantec Launches System Builder Program in Australia, Delivering Added Value to SMB Customers

<p>SYDNEY, Australia - Dec. 6, 2007 -- Symantec Corp. today launched the Symantec System Builder program which enables system builders and systems integrators to bundle Symantec’s leading security and storage software with every PC, server, operating system or networking appliance they sell. The program delivers market-sensitive pricing, training and support to systems builders looking to build tailored small to mid-sized business (SMB) solutions.</p>
<p>Symantec has partnered with Ingram Micro as an authorised distributor for the System Builder program and will offer security, administration, backup and recovery solutions, at competitive prices, for SMBs across Australia. By leveraging the Symantec brand and its market-leading products, system builders may be able to offer greater value and increase deal sizes by delivering a more comprehensive solution for SMBs.</p>
<p>The System Builder program is part of Symantec’s broader SMB partner strategy which is focused on enabling partners to develop and enhance a product portfolio that is designed to drive partner revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.</p>
