Alphawest first to certify in four Cisco Advanced Technology Specialisations

<p>Alphawest Services Pty Ltd, a leading Australian IT Services provider, has become the first Gold Partner to be awarded four Cisco Advanced specialisations in Australia and New Zealand. Cisco has awarded Alphawest the new Advanced Unified Communications specialisation, in addition to its other three existing Advanced Technology Specialisations – Advanced Security, Advanced Wireless LAN, and Advanced Routing and Switching.</p>
<p>The four advanced specialisations are recognition of Cisco best practices and expertise in sales, technical skills and services capabilities to provide customers with integrated, collaborative, adaptive solutions. As a Cisco Gold Certified Partner, Alphawest has significant knowledge and expertise in designing, implementing, supporting and managing end-to-end collaborative, secured, integrated voice, data, web and video business solutions, over both wired and wireless network infrastructures.</p>
<p>Unified communications applications streamline business processes by integrating effective communication and collaboration solutions, including messaging, voice, video and Web conferencing, and unified communications clients. These standards-based applications integrate with every day business tools such as Microsoft Outlook and IBM Lotus Notes, enabling the required tools, content and people to be quickly accessed based on an individual’s own rules and preferences, regardless of location.</p>
