Best Professional Services Company in Australia: Dimension Data

 • 15 March, 2007 15:00

IT services and solutions company Dimension Data named “Best Services Firm in Australia” in 2007 BRW-St George Client Choice Awards

Dimension Data today was announced Best Professional Services Firm (revenue over $100 million), Best IT Services Firm, and Best New South Wales Firm in the 2007 BRW-St George Client Choice Awards (the ‘Awards’).

“As an organisation, over the past few years we have had a huge focus on culture and reputation, both internally and externally. I believe that the values instilled in our employees, and the pride they have in working for Dimension Data has translated into excellent service delivery to our clients,” said Steve Nola, Australian CEO, Dimension Data.

“We also place great store in listening to our clients’ feedback, through regular executive engagements and project reviews; qualitative, in-depth interviews with our key clients; and surveys from a broader representation of our client base.”

The Awards, now in their third year, are based on a survey conducted by Beaton Consulting, covering the fields including consulting, legal, actuarial, property, engineering, architecture/design and accounting. This year, for the first time, IT Services has been recognised with its own category. In Beaton’s study conducted among buyers of professional services in Australia, over 11,000 clients participated in the survey, producing more than 20,000 individual firm ratings.

“We feel humbled to have won such a prestigious prize – Dimension Data has been recognised in the IT industry over many years for technical excellence, and it is great to now be acknowledged as a leader in the wider professional services industry. It’s thanks to our superb employees that we have achieved these awards,” said Mr Nola.

“Our industry is still a relatively young one, so it is good to see IT services now afforded the same status as other more ‘traditional’ professional services.”

Dimension Data was also named last week as a Hewitt 2006/07 Best Employer in Australia and New Zealand.
