International is proud to announce their recent appointment as the exclusive Australian Distributor of the Mediapac [also known as Hardtape] range of storage solutions. Audavi designs and manufactures a range of rugged portable storage solutions to securely record, store and transport digital video and data.

The Audavi solutions are based upon the Mediapac cartridge which utilise state-of-the-art small form factor disk drive technology to provide portable, high capacity, high performance storage in a ruggedised package. These cartridges can withstand forces up to 5000G’s and can survive being dropped onto concrete from about 60cm.

The cartridges are designed to fit into floppy-sized drive bays with a variety of interfaces [IDE, SATA, USB, SCSI] providing easy integration with existing workflows. In addition, they can be used with a diverse range of interface cables such as USB 2.0, Firewire and SATA providing for true portability.

“The integration of the Mediapac technology with a full range of cable, bay, tower and rackmount options by Audavi has produced an array of solutions for applications across the whole data storage field” said Mr Gene Bridge the Managing Director of G.D.B. International.

“Workflow practices are demanding greater portability of all types of content and the Mediapac systems will remove much of the tedious and time consuming uploads, downloads, capturing and transfers and this is the key to reducing future data management costs”
