NewSat launches webcasts for shareholder communications

 • 29 March, 2007 16:27

NewSat Limited (ASX: NWT) one of Australia’s leading satellite services providers, announced today that it has extended its shareholder communication through the introduction and development of webcasting.

The webcasts will be able to be downloaded on demand from NewSat’s website (www.newsat.com) at any time by shareholders and other interested parties in the investor market. Investors and customers alike can also subscribe, at no charge, to receive the information by webcast direct to their pc or laptop as it becomes available.

The series of webcasts go under the name of “The World of NewSat” and is hosted by CEO and founder Mr Adrian Ballintine.

In the first of the on-going series, Mr Ballintine interviews fellow NewSat director and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ON24 from California, Mr Chuck Ellison.

Chuck was recently in Australia attending a NewSat Board Meeting and Sales Conference and in this interview he gives an insight into the strong possibilities of multi-casting in Australia and into the major territories of China and India.

His company ON24 has achieved strong growth in the domestic US market working with blue chip companies specialising in sales lead generation.

Multi-casting is a core application for NewSat and this interview offers a window into the realm of possibilities based on hard-won, successful experience of ON24 in the US.

The second of the NewSat webcasts sees Adrian Ballintine interview new NewSat executive Tom Wright about the market for satellite services in the Middle East. This webcast is available now on-line at the NewSat website, too.

“With more than 9,000 shareholders NewSat has a large task of keeping them, and the market generally, informed,” said NewSat CEO Mr Adrian Ballintine.

I need power and lots of it. As a Front End Web developer anything less just won’t cut it which is why the MSI GT75 is an outstanding laptop for me. It’s a sleek and futuristic looking, high quality, beast that has a touch of sci-fi flare about it.
