LeverOne Network Cameras now Support 3G Mobile Phones

 • 16 April, 2007 14:15

Digital Data Communications Australia announces the addition of 3G technology to their LevelOne FCS-1030 and WCS-2030 IP cameras, for streaming of video content to mobile phone*. These updated models are now able to broadcast live images to your 3G mobile phone or PDA*.

Imagine receiving an email on your mobile phone alerting you to motion detected by a network camera installed at your home, then being able to use the same phone to view live video and listen to audio from the camera. With no security system, you just don't know that something has happened until you arrive home – far too late to do anything to limit the loss or to recover from a disaster.

Some IP surveillance systems allow you to receive an alarm via your mobile phone – and then worry all day about whether it was a false alarm. But with the new LevelOne FCS-1030 or WCS-2030 IP Camera, plus a suitable 3G mobile phone, you can have peace of mind from knowing about any incident, having the opportunity to visually verify the situation, and to take appropriate action – and all when the incident happens!

Or maybe you want to check up on your new puppy in spare moments, such as while waiting at the bus stop. After mounting a WCS-2030 where it can display your back yard, you can use your 3G mobile phone’s streaming video feature to connect via the internet to your WCS-2030 and see and hear how your puppy is behaving when its owners are out.

LevelOne network cameras, including FCS-1030 and WCS-2030 provide ideal solutions for home surveillance, with up to 30 frames per second in full VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Both models can connect through a wired Ethernet connection. The WCS-2030 also includes standard 802.11G 54Mbps wireless making it easy to mount wherever it’s needed.

Despite their small size, these cameras include a mini web server allowing viewing of camera images from any PC, and now from 3G mobile phones/PDA, with web browser. The detected motion images can be saved to a local hard drive or a NAS storage device located anywhere. The bundled surveillance management software, IPCam Secure Lite, allows monitoring of up to 32 IP cameras and has many advanced functions.

More information on LevelOne network cameras is listed in

*Requires mobile telephone service provider’s support of 3GPP/ISMA RSTP format for viewing of 3G video streaming.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.
