Partnership further strengthens the quality and reach of SonicWALL’s channel in the Australian market

SonicWALL Inc. (NASDAQ: SNWL), a leading provider of integrated security, productivity and mobility solutions, announced today a national Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) agreement with Bluefire Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, Bluefire will represent SonicWALL’s full suite of network security solutions aimed at the SME and enterprise markets.

"Our company is a leading provider of managed IT services and solutions to mid-sized enterprises in Australia. In particular, we have built a solid reputation for delivering quality internet security solutions.” said Jason Serda, Joint-Managing Director of Bluefire. “We have chosen to partner with SonicWALL as this company stands out for being extremely proactive in the market and for its comprehensive, highly competitive feature rich product set.”

“Most importantly, when it comes to network security, SonicWALL is differentiated by the superior service and support it provides,” he contends. “With SonicWALL, we have direct access to best-of-breed technical experts who will work alongside us to resolve any technical issues quickly and help us work on strategic plans to expand our data centre architecture. This level of support is a differentiator in the market and means we can confidently meet our customers’ current and future needs.”

According to Serda, another major attraction for partnering with SonicWALL was its unique management tool – the SonicWALL Global Management System (SGMS), which provides organizations, enterprises & service providers with a flexible, powerful and intuitive tool to globally manage remote SonicWALL Internet security appliances. SGMS is valued by SonicWALL’s service providers as it allows them to provide highly competitive, value added security services to their clients.

Adding Bluefire to the channel is yet another carefully orchestrated move by SonicWALL to build a strong, enhanced security channel in Australia and New Zealand. During the last six months the company has been focused on adding high quality, valued-added partners who individually bring different strengths, experiences and expertise to the mix.

“Given our increased level of channel activity and the strong growth in our quality reseller base, SonicWALL is well on its way to establishing market leadership in the SME security space in Australia and New Zealand,” said Tim Dickinson, Regional Sales Manager, SonicWALL, Australia, New Zealand and Oceania.

Concluded Dickinson, “When it comes to security, clients require professional consultancy, service and support. Bluefire will deliver in all these areas and will quickly build a solid reputation as a major SonicWALL MSSP in this market.”
