Activision to rock your face with even more 80's tracks

When we last left Guitar Hero, GamePro reported on Activision's plans to release a new installment of the series called Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80s. This semi-sequel title would exclusively include tracks from 1980's, ranging from songs by Flock of Seagulls to Twisted Sister. Activision has since renamed the title to Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, but the game's mission remains the same: great music and very bad hair.

With their latest press release, the company has announced the licensing of seven new songs, which also range greatly across styles and genres. However, this new selection also shows a predilection towards the "hair bands", like Poison and Extreme, that made the era so infamous. Here's the new list:

  • 18 and Life (as made famous by Skid Row)
  • Bathroom Wall (as made famous by Faster Pussycat)
  • Lonely is the Night (as made famous by Billy Squier)
  • Nothing But a Good Time (as made famous by Poison)
  • Play With Me (as made famous by Extreme)
  • Shaken (as made famous by Eddie Money)
  • Synchronicity II (as made famous by Police)
Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s will be available on PS2 in the coming months.

MSI GS75

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.

This small mobile printer is exactly what I need for invoicing and other jobs such as sending fellow tradesman details or step-by-step instructions that I can easily print off from my phone or the Web.
