Merrett signs on for NewSat in SA

<p>NewSat Limited (ASX: NWT), Australia’s leading independent satellite services provider, announced today that Wayne Merrett has joined the company as Regional Sales Manager for South Australia.</p>
<p>Mr Merrett is a highly experienced technology and satellite expert and joins NewSat from a distinguished ICT background including pivotal roles at Fujitsu, NEC and Optus.</p>
<p>Mr Merrett will be based at NewSat’s extensive teleport facility at Mawson Lakes, Adelaide.</p>
<p>“NewSat is delighted to have a senior executive such as Wayne join the sales force,” said Mr Mike Kenneally, Vice President of Sales for NewSat Ltd.</p>
<p>“His technical ability and extensive contacts throughout the industry will be a welcome addition to the NewSat ranks at a time when we are ramping up the sales and marketability of the company and its services afforded by our world-class teleports in Adelaide and Perth.</p>
<p>“NewSat is focussed on growing our market share in big business, including mining and resource enterprises, NGOs and government contracts. Wayne’s experience will become a key driver in achieving these results,” Mr Kenneally added.</p>
