Local Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Gains Support from ASX listed company; Volante

<p>Sydney, Australia – September 14 2004 – The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) ANZ today announced Volante (ASX: VGL) as the latest company to join the association. Volante Group Limited is one of the largest Australian owned IT infrastructure services and solutions companies specialising in several key service focus areas including information lifecycle management (ILM), security, business solutions, connectivity, platforms and managed services.</p>
<p>“The SNIA has been successful in establishing a complete storage management standard in SMI-S that means users no longer need to be concerned with proprietary one-vendor SAN solutions that lock them in,” commented Paul Harris, National ILM Practice Manager for Volante. “With its independent advice, large number of SNIA compliant vendor partners and SNIA qualified support staff, Volante will be greatly benefited by joining the local SNIA chapter and promoting the open storage standards.”</p>
