gotalk launches "best value" prepaid mobile phone caps

<p>Gold Coast telco gotalk today launched a range of prepaid mobile caps directly targeting the 14-28 year old market - or parents attempting to control kid’s mobile costs - and "anyone looking for the best value for money in the prepaid market."</p>
<p>According to CEO Steve Picton, gotalk’s new pre paid capped plans will give parents more power to control excessive teen mobile phone bills – particularly in summer when US research says teenage mobile phone use jumps by more than an hour a day.</p>

<p>CEO Steve Picton said today gotalk’s new capped plans were now “the best value for money in the prepaid market” – and aimed at taking market share from gotalk’s main competition Vodafone and Optus.</p>
<p>“In some areas the new gotalk mobile caps offer TWICE the value of our competition,” Mr. Picton said, “and in the market we are targeting, value for money is the critical factor in selecting a service provider – whether the customer is the parent of a teenage mobile phone user or someone in the cost conscious 20-28 group who just need to control their spend because they live on a budget or have a mortgage.”</p>
