Quantum's Bruce Coulthard Appointed to SNIA Board of Directors

<p>SYDNEY, Australia - 21 November, 2007 – Quantum Corp., the leading global specialist in backup, recovery and archive, today announced the appointment of Bruce Coulthard, Quantum Systems Engineer, Australia &amp; New Zealand, to the Board of Directors of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) for Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>As a SNIA board member, Coulthard brings his extensive background and knowledge in the storage networking industry, boasting eleven years experience with Quantum and other major vendors in Australia and New Zealand. Coulthard plans to collaborate with other industry leaders to strengthen the storage networking community and to continue to drive storage networking solutions into the broader market.</p>
<p>Coulthard said, “Our partnerships with SNIA worldwide are imperative to us, because we share a united vision for the storage industry to increase awareness about storage networks. I am honoured to be representing Quantum on the board and I am looking forward to taking part in creating informed recommendations for end users.”</p>
<p>Coulthard will represent Quantum as one of twelve leading storage vendors amongst the board across ANZ. Coulthard has worked as Quantum’s Systems Engineer for the past four months. Prior to joining Quantum, Coulthard worked as a storage focussed Solutions Consultant for Commander Integrated Networks.</p>
