New appointments mark NETGEAR's corporate success

<p>NETGEAR appoints new staff as it expands operations</p>
<p>(Sydney, Australia) September 9, 2003 -- NETGEAR (Nasdaq: NTGR) is expanding its operations in Australia and New Zealand to support its channel, as it continues to target the corporate market.</p>
<p>Coinciding with the opening of NETGEAR's new office in New Zealand, four new people will join the NETGEAR team, bringing with them a wealth of IT industry knowledge and experience:</p>
<p>· Robert Savellis joins NETGEAR as Channel Development Manager. In this role he will be responsible for working with and developing NETGEAR's New South Wales reseller channel and the Powershift channel support program. Robert most recently held the position of Marketing Executive with Ingram.</p>
<p>· Katrina Myles will take on an Account Management role with NETGEAR, focusing on developing NETGEAR's business in the corporate market place. Katrina previously worked for networking vendor, D Link, as the Channel and Education Manager.</p>
<p>· Tom Leggett joins NETGEAR as the Northern Region Manager, responsible for building NETGEAR's corporate profile in the Queensland and Northern Territory region. For the last three and a half years Tom has worked for Express Data as an Account Manager.</p>
<p>· James Caldwell will be strengthening NETGEAR's presence overseas, as Region Manager in New Zealand. James will manage all channel activity, programs and initiatives in this region. James comes to NETGEAR from his last role as Product Manager at Tech Pacific, NETGEAR's largest national distributor.</p>
<p>This expansion in staff numbers reflects NETGEAR's increasing penetration into the corporate market where it continues to develop business class products, service programs and an active sales channel to best cater to the requirements of this sector.</p>
