Research firm hosts VoIP directory

Telecommunications research firm Market Clarity has launched a local consumer, business and wholesale VoIP directory.

The directory, called the Aussie VoIP List is free of charge and lists more than 170 VoIP providers by name, Web site, target market, and whether the carrier uses a public Internet or private IP network.

Market Clarity CEO Shara Evans said that over the last six months the VoIP market has grown in number to about 180 providers which offer increasingly complex services.

"VoIP services have been growing in 'stealth mode' since 2001, but over the last six months a huge number of local providers have launched into the market," Evans said. "The number of providers, different offers and confusing terminology make it almost impossible to really understand what is available."

The directory also categorizes providers by hosted, wholesale and IP centrex capabilities.

Evans said the list will be updated regularly and encouraged providers to contact Market Clarity to advise of changes to business details.

The Aussie VoIP List is available at www.marketclarity.com.au/voip.

MSI GS75

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.

MSI PS63

The MSI PS63 is an amazing laptop and I would definitely consider buying one in the future.
