SMB Technology Deploys Kaseya to Develop a Managed Service Business

<p>Kaseya, a global provider of IT automation software for IT solution providers and public / private sector IT organisations, today announced that SMB Technology, a Melbourne-based IT service provider, has deployed the Kaseya solution to provide managed services to its customers in Australia.</p>
<p>The Kaseya Managed Service Edition is specifically designed for managed service providers (MSPs) who want a complete and integrated view into their customers’ IT environments. It will allow SMB Technology to maintain its customers’ networks remotely and automatically. Costs for travelling will be reduced dramatically. By proactively managing the network, SMB Technology will also be able to attend to customer requests in a timely manner and provide strategic advice so as to improve customer satisfaction.</p>
<p>“Kaseya provides us with an all-in-one integrated solution that helps address the increasing pressure from a growing customer base and operating costs that we are facing at present. As a cost-efficient tool for proactive system management, Kaseya will enable us to support a lot more customers without an increase in staffing,” David Benet, Director of SMB Technology. “The additional monitoring and automation capabilities are something I have been looking for a long time.”</p>

<p>With its robust functionality and the dedicated local support team, Kaseya won over SMB Technology from several managed service solution providers. The Kaseya solution provides a raft of services, including PC remote control and support, patch management, end-point security, backup and disaster recovery, network monitoring and alerts, software upgrades and helpdesk and network policy enforcement with fully integrated reporting.</p>
<p>According to Benet, SMB Technology will work on fleshing out the initial services and pricing to offer to existing and new customers.</p>
