Sydney, Australia – 20 March 2008 – Quantum Corporation, a global leader in storage, today announced the appointment of Keith Busson as Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand. Keith will be responsible for developing relationships with key partners, managing the implementation of sales strategies and ensuring growth across the region.

“In my new role with Quantum I will initially be undertaking a full review of the business in order to develop key priorities and goals for the future. I will be seeking input from our channel partners and the end user community to help guide this strategy as they are a key part of our success” said Keith Busson. “I am looking forward to working in Australia as each market provides its own challenges. What I have discovered in working across a variety of geographies is customers everywhere have the same concerns about their data protection infrastructure and Quantum is the best placed partner to help them solve those issues.”

Prior to this position, Busson was Area Director of ADIC and joined Quantum following it’s acquisition of ADIC in 2006. While at ADIC, Busson was manager of the EMEA region and was responsible for the on-going management and development of a team based across three geographic locations. In this role, Busson developed and implemented a go-to-market strategy which increased revenue by over 300 percent.

Busson also spent time as Business Development Manager at Seagate Technologies where he developed comprehensive plans for the emerging markets and doubled business levels. During his 23 years in the IT industry, Busson also held positions at Datrontech, 2GL, Dynatek Automation Systems and Specialist Computer Centre.
