PowerQuest Enhances Windows XP Migrations PC Deployment with ImageCenter32

<p>SYDNEY, Australia – Oct 29, 2003 – PowerQuest® Corporation, a global provider of deployment and recovery solutions, announces the availability of ImageCenter32™, a streamlined 32-bit application that enables trouble-free configuration of image deployment under the Microsoft® Windows® Pre-installation Environment (WinPE). ImageCenter32 provides a straightforward graphical user interface (GUI) that enhances PowerQuest’s industry leading deployment tools – PowerQuest DeployCenter® Library, PowerQuest V2i Builder™ and the Deploy Toolkit™ – to make the process of creating and deploying images less complicated and more efficient by removing the need for writing scripts.</p>
<p>ImageCenter32 provides a simplified graphical user interface that accesses the powerful script command capabilities of PowerQuest’s PQIDeploy for Windows, which runs under WinPE for 32-bit power and speed. PowerQuest, the first software vendor to support WinPE, now makes the process of migrating to Windows XP simpler and easier by providing this GUI interface that supports migrations in a WinPE environment. By leveraging PowerQuest’s imaging technology together with WinPE, IT professionals and service providers can eliminate the need to create DOS network boot floppies and leverage the efficiencies of 32-bit Windows network environment for maximum deployment speeds.</p>
ImageCenter32 is available immediately as a no-charge download to all licensed customers of PowerQuest DeployCenter Library, PowerQuest V2i Builder and the PowerQuest Deploy Toolkit. A maintenance agreement is not required to obtain ImageCenter32. Customers can access the download at Because ImageCenter32 does not contain any imaging components or engine technology, it will function only if used in conjunction with PQIDeploy. ImageCenter32 is available only in English.</p>
