Digital Voodoo to introduce new PCI cards

Digital Voodoo, a developer of D1 SMPTE 259M QuickTime interfaces for Mac workstations, will introduce new two Mac products at the upcoming NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) expo in Las Vegas April 8-11.

One product will be the HD Fury, a High Definition (that's where the HD comes from) PCI card for the Mac.

It features one HD SDI input and one HD SDI output, Genlock and SD SDI down conversion, the HD Fury is ideally suited for high definition. Supporting dual stream HD, as well as eight channels of AES/EBU digital audio at 24 bit / 96 Khz, HD Fury is targeted to editors, broadcast designers and compositors. In fact, the folks at Digital Voodoo say it's "the most cost effective and versatile high definition videographics card supporting true 10-bit I/O processing on the market."

Digital Voodoo is also introducing Compound SD, their latest SDI I/O digital and analog videographics engine, at NAB. This multiple format PCI card for the Mac supports 10-bit uncompressed SDI input and output as well as component RGB, YUV, Y/C and composite (NTSC and PAL) video. What's more, Compound SD -- which Digital Voodoo says is the first multiple format 10-bit I/O card for the Mac -- has built in support for multiple layers of video or video and graphics as well eight channels of AES/EBU digital audio.

Pricing hasn't been announced for either the HD Fury or the Compound DD.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.

The Huddle Board’s built in program; Sharp Touch Viewing software allows us to easily manipulate and edit our documents (jpegs and PDFs) all at the same time on the dashboard.

The biggest perks for me would be that it comes with easy to use and comprehensive programs that make the collaboration process a whole lot more intuitive and organic
