Deal gives eBay added live event tickets

EBay users will soon have access to scores of tickets for sporting events, concerts, theater productions and other live performances from secondary ticketing provider LiquidSeats, thanks to a multiyear deal the companies announced Tuesday.

The agreement allows eBay users to access ticket listings from LiquidSeat's StubHub Network. StubHub boasts a wide array of profession and college sports tickets, as well as concert and theater offerings, and includes Web sites affiliated with sports teams and media companies.

LiquidSeats is hoping the deal will benefit StubHub ticket sellers by granting them access to eBay's massive audience of 42 million registered users, the company said.
