Advantate’s search for leadership team delivers CFO, CTO, Operations Director and Sales Director

<p>29 July 2008: Advantate, the newly-launched company which provides simple, cost-effective Search Engine Marketing (SEM) services to small and medium sized businesses, today announces its leadership team.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to Advantate CEO Lisa Watts, the new executive appointments cover key operational areas including finance, product development, operations and sales. They are:</p>
<p>Chris Afentoulis, Chief Financial Officer – an accomplished finance professional who was previously Financial Controller with Melbourne IT. Chris brings to Advantate proven experience meeting the rigorous financial reporting requirements of a listed company, as well as the ability to analyse financial data to strategically inform company direction.</p>
<p>Chris was previously an Audit Supervisor with PKF. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.</p>
<p>Joseph Hanna, Chief Technology Officer – a technology strategist and product development veteran with more than 11 years experience. Most recently, Joseph was Technology Director of MyCareer.com.au. He is skilled at directing complex technical projects and brings particular expertise in ensuring best practice methodologies are adopted online.</p>
<p>Remone Tawadros, Operations Director – a search engine optimisation and marketing analyst who has worked in Australia and overseas for companies such as Melbourne IT, iProspect, Telstra Dome and Holden. Remone is Google certified and a Yahoo! Search Ambassador.</p>
<p>Shane Tomlinson, Sales Director – brings business development knowledge from enterprises including Seek.com.au, Telstra and BOC Gases. At Seek.com.au, Shane oversaw the addition of 15,000 new customers via an outbound telesales team. He is expert in reaching SME customers and has a history of exceeding customer retention targets.</p>
<p>Announcing the appointments, Advantate CEO Lisa Watts says, “These executives together bring to Advantate decades of experience in the online world.”</p>
