Zepto launches new graphics card

Zepto announces today that it is offering the new Geforce 9650M GT graphics card from Nvidia in its laptop computers. This new super graphics card delivers 15% faster graphics, resulting in a significant improvement of the gaming experience in demanding games.

From today Zepto is offering as the first in the market the new Geforce 9650M GT with 512MB DDR3 graphics card from Nvidia, delivering 15% more performance without increasing power consumption by going from 65 nm to 55 nm.

This new impressive graphics card increases performance by using its 32 processor cores with 20% in the popular benchmark 3D Mark 2006 and results in a jump from 5000 points in the current 9600M GT DDR3 card to 6000 points. An increase of 20% therefore, at the same power consumption. This performance is equal to the Geforce 8600 MGT in SLI. The new card fully supports Blu-Ray and DirectX 10.
All Zepto’s new high-end Centrino 2 based laptops; Nox, Mythos and Nexus, are compatible with the new graphics card.

The new graphics card will be available on and is expected to be available for delivery middle of September. This card will increase the speed and attractiveness of the new Zepto laptops Nox, Mythos and Nexus to new standards. Zepto enables existing customers to upgrade their laptops to the new graphics card, as this new card is MXM compatible. Customers can call in to their country distributors to arrange for the upgrade.
