NetComm Joins Globechat Communications to Offer Bundled VoIP Offering for SMEs

 • 06 April, 2006 11:29

Globechat Communications, a leading Australian small business VoIP service provider, has announced it will partner exclusively with NetComm to offer a preconfigured VoIP service/hardware bundle especially for small and medium enterprises.

In addition, the Globechat service will be exclusively distributed in Australia by specialist distributor XIT Distribution. XIT Distribution has a dedicated Globechat team to ensure the best possible service for reseller partners.

The partnership will initially see Globechat bundle its VoIP network service with NetComm’s V200, V300, and new V400 four port hardware. Globechat chose NetComm’s products because of their simple private telephone network (PBX) integration, coupled with easy Quality of Service (QoS) setup and hardware reliability. Globechat’s VoIP service offers users a choice of un-timed national calls or a low tariff timed national call rate. It also includes Voicemail, Linked Accounts, Conference Call capability and other Distance Independent PBX functions.

“As the first Australian VoIP Network to truly accommodate the varied needs of small business users, Globechat is pleased to announce its partnership with the local market leader in VoIP hardware,” said Lars Hall, Managing Director, Globechat Communications. “The partnership, along with XIT Distribution’s expertise, will ensure that customers are provided with the highest quality of products and services.”

David Stewart, Managing Director of NetComm commented: “Awareness of VoIP is growing rapidly in the SMB market and NetComm is pleased to strengthen their offering within this market through the partnership with Globechat Communications. This alliance provides both Globechat and NetComm with the opportunity to be a source of proven and trusted technology providers within the small business market.”

Launching in 1999, Australian owned Globechat Communications was one of the first VoIP providers in Australia to ascertain and implement various features integral for Business users. The service uniquely combines their Nationwide VoIP Platform with a transparent Dealer RIS (Residual Income Stream) portal that incorporates powerful client management features. The RIS is coupled to a strong User Portal with increased functionality and add-ons for Globechat clients.
