Applicon, an Australian business leader in wireless communication technologies and advanced engineering and automation solutions, has appointed Armagan Cetindas as National Sales and Marketing Manager

<p>Sydney, Australia – 30 October 2008 – Applicon, an Australian business leader in wireless communication technologies and advanced engineering and automation solutions, has appointed Armagan Cetindas as National Sales and Marketing Manager. Cetindas will be responsible for managing the implementation of sales strategies, developing relationships with key partners and ensuring growth across the region. Applicon is one of the region’s leading experts in delivering robust and secure networking and wireless telecommunications solutions.</p>
<p>Based in Perth, Cetindas will concentrate on driving the business in the Pacific region and overseeing a number of new product initiatives. Cetindas will also develop partnership programs and networks with the channel.</p>
<p>Prior to this appointment, Cetindas worked for Symantec as the Pre-Sales Engineering Manager for 5 years, responsible for the Systems Engineering team operation for Pacific. In this role he focused on managing the SE team throughout the region as they provided technical knowledge and expertise during the Symantec sales cycle. Cetindas also spent time at Enterasys as a Senior Systems Engineer, specialising in Intrusion Detection Systems, VPNs, Encryption as well as Data Communications.</p>
<p>On his appointment, Cetindas commented: “The demand for Applicon’s wireless infrastructure products and services continues to grow strongly and we are becoming heavily involved with projects for many of Australia’s major businesses.
