Guru's seminars to advance Photoshop skills

A new seminar promising to extend the skills of Photoshop users is about to arrive on Australian shores.

To coincide with the release of Photoshop 7.0, Ben Willmores, a professed Photoshop guru and original consultant on the product, has announced his own Photoshop Digital Mastery seminar, which aims to give Photoshop users a more thorough understanding of the program and its functionality.

Willmores claims to have taught Photoshop to more than 12,000 design professionals since the program's launch 10 years ago and is a certified Adobe expert.

His latest seminar promises to offer users a comprehensive overview of Photoshop without the technical jargon, ranging from a look at the foundations of the product, right through to a detailed review of the program's high-end creative tools, such as colour management and correction. The seminars are targeted at intermediate to advanced users of Photoshop 6.0 and 7.0.

Alongside the day-long seminar, participants will also be able to access additional information on Photoshop via the Web.

Seminars will take place throughout Australia and in two locations in New Zealand between August 5 and 23 and cost $275. Students are entitled to a $165 discount.

Full details on the seminars are available at www.photoshoplink.com.

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.
