Netspace users transfer for free

Netspace has introduced a new free transfer upload/download service between its ADSL Home customers, which will allow same-state users to exchange files of any size without impacting on their monthly download limits.

The new service, which is available now, has been designed to allow video conference users or peer-to-peer gamers to utilise Netspace's network without incurring additional transfer costs. The service is available at all times, any day of the week. Netspace ADSL users currently have free access to the ISP's game and IRC servers.

Depending on the impact the service has on its Home users, Netspace managing director Stuart Marburg said the ISP will consider extending the service to its Business/Corporate ADSL customers.

Marburg said introducing the free transfer service to its Business DSL services would involve a technically different approach to that used in the Home ADSL service, as Business DSL products have static IP addresses, instead of fixed IP address pools.

Netspace has around 3000 ADSL Home subscribers throughout Australia.

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.
