NetApp Selects Cray to Resell Storage Solutions to Australian Defence and Intelligence Customers

NetApp today announced it has appointed Cray Australia Pty. Limited as a reseller to provide storage solutions for high-security customers in the Australian defence and intelligence communities.

<p>CANBERRA, Australia—7 May, 2009— NetApp today announced it has appointed Cray Australia Pty. Limited as a reseller to provide storage solutions for high-security customers in the Australian defence and intelligence communities. Cray is joining the NetApp Partner Program as an authorised reseller, which enables Cray to offer customers NetApp® storage solutions. Under the agreement, Cray will sell the full line of NetApp products, with special focus on the clustered Data ONTAP® platform, a feature-rich networked storage solution from NetApp.</p>
<p>Dr. Lindsay Hood, Australia and New Zealand sales manager for Cray, said, “Government customers with stringent security requirements can now benefit from dealing with one company throughout the acquisition process and for ongoing system support. This agreement allows us to provide government customers with a broad range of industry-leading storage options, such as clustered Data ONTAP.”</p>
