Survey: 50% of Gamers play for 5 hours daily

The highest response was 45% daily for about 2 to 5 hours

In the Game&Game site, ahead of the European region finals of the 2009 Game & Game World Championship (herein GNGWC2009), a unique questionnaire is being conducted that is attracting attention.

Presently, in the Game&Game homepage, voting is being carried out for how long gamers play daily.

This voting, which has been conducted since last July 1 to the present, people who play games for about 2 to 5 hours account for the majority of 43% and for 5 to 10 hours, 24% responded.

Since some 50% of the total votes indicated that they played games for more than 5 hours daily, this is a sign that manias are increasing worldwide who enjoy gaming as a leisure or a hobby.

The recent trends of the game is not based not only on individual or several person enjoying gaming but through the internet, many people participating simultaneously in heated confrontation in a game story format with the time being extended into many hours which indicates the expansion of gaming for a long time.

This shows that the participation is not only based on simple gaming but an expansion of high level of loyal following of gamers due to the wide variety of characteristics and story of the game.

This voting is to be held until July 31 in the Game&Game homepage which can be easily participated by anyone with the voting result being upgraded continuously and can be verified on a real-time bases.

For the participants of the questionnaire, through a drawing, high function mouse would be presented to 5 persons and a high quality keyboard to 2 persons.

On the other hand, for GNGWC2009's first regional final which is the European regional finals to be held on July 31 in Lepzig, Germany, all 3 category comprised of Silkroad online, Shot online, Atlantica, gamers in the European region are expected to participate and compete.
