Brother launches new visitor management system to help organisations keep track of guests
- 11 August, 2009 13:56

Called the VM-100, the visitor badge and management software is perfect for any organisation where it is essential to keep track of visitors. It greatly aids security and administration, while helping an organisation to present itself as an efficient, professional operation.

The VM-100 is a flexible system that may be tailored to suit a range of organisations. For those with an administration team, the software can be set up on a receptionist desktop. To save time, visitors can preregister to ensure waiting time is kept to a minimum.

Another option is to allow visitors to self-check in, and to print their own badges. This simple step-by-step process leaves no room for errors and is password protected to ensure no visitor can tamper with existing settings.

The VM-100 is easy to set up and use. Guests to an organisation are entered into a secure database, which may be recalled quickly at any time should it be important to know who has visited on any particular date.

The VM-100 software works in tandem with any of the Brother’s QL label printers, to print a high visibility badge for the visitor. A webcam can also be used if a photo-ID is required.

In the case of an emergency, it is easy to print of an emergency report at the click of a mouse. This report will include a list of visitor names to make the roll-call process as easy as possible.

Included with the VM-100 is the VM-100 Visitor Badge and Management software, 2 x DK-N55224 paper rolls (to print up to 700 badges), 12 x clip-on plastic badge holders and a roll storage box.

The VM -100VP RRP is $399.
