Although they have their pros and cons, cartridge-based printers can sometimes be more troublesome and frustrating to use than you’d like.
Axway solutions receive automated AS1 interoperability certification from Drummond Group®
- 19 August, 2009 09:42

SYDNEY, August 19, 2009 – Continuing its legacy of meeting or exceeding industry interoperability standards, Axway’s business-to-business (B2B) Gateway and EndPoint solutions have once more successfully received certification from Drummond Group, Inc. for Applicability Statement 1 (AS1) interoperability. This was the first time Axway and other vendors were tested using Drummond Group’s patented InSitu® fully automated technology.

AS1 is the protocol by which vendor applications exchange Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Extensible Markup Language (XML) or other business data over the Internet using Simple Message Transfer Protocol (SMTP) Transport or email. The InSitu automation technology enabled Drummond Group to reduce its manual efforts and focus on consistent testing methods and monitoring.

More than 11,000 global enterprise customers within the financial services, healthcare, consumer product goods, government and automotive industries have turned to Axway to help manage and secure the movement of critical business data and communication from business-to-business across the Internet. Axway's certified offerings include:

• Axway Gateway solutions – Integrate with existing infrastructures and help companies centrally manage the electronic exchange of information and business communication between other businesses securely and efficiently

• Axway EndPoint solution – Connect business transactions quickly and safely between trading partners across the Internet through a single-point connection

“Drummond Group’s tests set the bar high for the industry, and we’ve never failed them,” said Dave Bennett, CTO, Axway. “We see interoperability as critical, especially now that companies are consolidating their infrastructure for better performance and lower costs. Our customers come to us not only because we meet industry standards, but also because we can be a partner in their consolidation strategies.”
