Canberra, Australia – 23 September 2009 – Leading automated document creation and output management solutions provider, Intelledox Australia Pty Limited, today announced the successful deployment of the Intelledox Intelligent Document engine at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). Delivering tight data integration with the existing Siebel deployment provided by Oracle, Intelledox has provided a low total cost of ownership add-on that provides significant business improvement value to CASA.
CASA was created in 1995 and is the Federal Government regulator of civil aviation in Australia with responsibility for safety, oversight, and licensing of commercial air operators, aircraft, pilots and licensed engineers throughout Australia.
“As the regulator for the civil aviation industry, we at CASA are committed to process improvement to ensure the safety of Australian skies”, said Simon Denby, chief information officer at CASA. “The enterprise-class Intelledox solution fully leverages our existing infrastructure, and allows our divisions to own and manage document template design and delivery, keeping down costs, and increasing the speed of implementation”, he said.
As a component of an internal drive to improve organizational productivity, CASA has completed rapid implementation of a project with Intelledox Australia to enhance interaction processes and improve the efficiency and accuracy of documents generated. The Intelledox solution has dramatically increased the speed and efficiency of document template development, and allowed the realigning of template development processes away from IT and back to the business user. This has significantly lowered the cost of template implementation and provided fine grained control of layout and correspondence design, while supporting user-defined conditional formatting and complex paragraph logic.
Unlike the previous model of forms development involving complex code-based templates, Intelledox has eliminated the dependency on high-cost outsourced specialist forms development skills inherent in the previous solution. It has also reduced costs for document generation and web forms design and management by up to 80%. In addition to interoperability with Siebel, Intelledox has been integrated with TRIM (RDMS), and workflow engine Changepoint in the generation of the correspondence sent to people in the aviation industry as part of the new Alcohol and Other Drugs testing program.

“CASA is another example of our ability to seamlessly integrate the Intelledox solution with our customer’s line of business applications”, said Phillip Williamson, Chief Executive Officer of Intelledox. “Working closely with CASA and our technology partners, we have unleashed the enterprise value of CASA’s corporate information and provided a document generation solution that fully leverages their existing business applications”, he continued.
Even in the current challenging business environment, Intelledox continues to be a strong performer in the Australian IT sector, achieving revenue growth of over 90% in 2008/09. Forecast growth for 2009/10 is expected to continue this trend, driven by strong demand for its software solutions from organizations throughout Asia Pacific, South Africa, and Western Europe. Intelledox customers gain significant return on investment, boosted productivity, and greater control over their information lifecycle.
