Steve Mann joins Acronis as Chief Marketing Officer

New Marketing Executive Brings Marketing Innovation and Growth Expertise to Storage and Disaster Recovery Software Leader.

<p>Acronis (http://www.acronis.com.au), has hired technology industry luminary Steve Mann as Chief Marketing Officer.</p>
<p>Building on its record Q3 2009 revenues and highly successful consumer (Acronis True Image Home 2010) and enterprise (Acronis Backup &amp; Recovery 10) product launches, Acronis has added Mann as its first CMO. He is charged with leading Acronis’ global marketing efforts out of the Burlington, Mass., headquarters.</p>
<p>“Steve Mann brings a valuable combination of deep expertise and innovative thinking,” said Jason Donahue, Acronis President and CEO. “Acronis is poised for a tremendous 2010 and Steve will play an integral role in driving our future growth.”</p>
<p>Acronis registered its best-ever Q3 revenues this year, highlighted by a September that set a company record for revenue. In addition, Acronis last month was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a list of the fastest growing technology companies in North America. Acronis has also earned a place on the Inc. 5000 and the AlwaysOn East 100 lists as well as countless product awards.</p>
<p>Mann, a thought leader on emerging technologies, marketing segmentation strategies, social media, and marketing strategy, brings more than 20 years of experience in technology marketing to Acronis. Most recently, Mann led SAP AG’s social media strategy efforts.</p>
<p>Mann was also responsible for SAP’s Total Customer Experience initiative, services marketing, market intelligence function and SAP’s competitive program and strategy team. Prior to joining SAP, Mann was a principal with the BRM Group, a Jerusalem and New York-based venture capital firm and was formerly the vice president of product strategy for CA Inc.</p>
