Red Faction, De Blob sequels to come in this fiscal year

THQ restructures company, announces two new sequels

THQ recently concluded its quarterly investor conference call, detailing its efforts to meet fiscal goals over the last quarter and year, as well as revealing plans for the upcoming fiscal year. Most notably, the company revealed its plans to create sequels for two franchises -- Red Faction and De Blob -- in the time between April 2010 and March 2011.

The other major news to come out of THQ's financial results is the announcement of the restructuring of the company to create two new digital content creation studios. Juice Games -- the developers of Juiced -- will be renamed THQ Digital Studios Warrington, while Rainbow Studios of MX vs ATV fame will be redubbed THQ Digital Studios Phoenix. The team formerly known as Rainbow Studios will continue to develop the MX vs. ATV series in addition to their new duties.

The two studios will focus on creating casual and hardcore MMO titles, as well as games for Facebook, iPhone, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade. Particularly, the company stated that three of its top brands will be leveraged for Facebook games. The company will continue to cater to the children's market with games for the year's many Dreamworks movie franchises, as well as a video game tie-in to M. Night Shamalan's Avatar: The Last Airbender movie. The company's casual fare for the next year include games for the newly-acquired Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy licenses, as well as titles for Project Natal and the PlayStation 3's motion controller, which THQ CEO Brian Farrel called "the PS3 Arc."

Future titles that the company has planned for the 2012 fiscal year include sequels to Darksiders and Saints Row, as well as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. Farrel promised that the next Red Faction and the upcoming Warhammer 40K MMO would both be shown in greater detail at this year's show.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.
