
Konami has revealed that its hip-hop music game Def Jam Rapstar will drop on October 5, coming bundled with a microphone and selling for $70 on the PS3 and Xbox 360, with the Wii version costing $60. Additionally, seven new songs and two freestyle tracks have been announced for the game.
With EA and Activision likely dropping their next music games this fall, Konami is looking to provide an alternative to rock with Def Jam Rapstar when it releases on October 5 in the U.S (the game will hit Australian stores the month after). The game, which has currently only been announced as part of a microphone bundle release, will have over 40 tracks for hip-hop fans to test their mettle with. With today's reveal of seven new songs and two exclusively-produced freestyle tracks, we are now aware of just under 20. The full list is below, with new additions in bold:
