2K Games, Square Enix shed light on E3 lineups

New info on upcoming games and release dates

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

2K Games announced the slate of games that will be on display at its booth at E3 next week, along with new details and release windows for its hottest titles. Similarly, Square Enix revealed new information on its E3 show-going games.

Here the list of 2K's titles, along with release window info (if revealed) and any additional pertinent data.

Mafia II (August 24, 2010) -- The demo revealed on the E3 show floor will be available to the rest of the gaming public later in the summer.

Sid Meier's Civilization V (Fall 2010)

Spec Ops: The Line (2011)

XCOM (2011)

NBA 2K11 (Fall 2010)

NHL 2K11 (Fall 2010) -- The Wii version will utilize Wii MotionPlus to mimic hockey moves, much in the same way that EA's NHL Slapshot will.

New Carnival Games (Fall 2010) -- Unlike the original hit, the new version will include multiplayer for all of its games as well as Wii MotionPlus compatibility.

Nickelodeon Fit (November 2010) --The game will include "a youthful emphasis" on fitness, with the in-game cast consisting of the likes of Dora, Kai-lan, and The Backyardigans.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (September 7, 2010)

Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded (TBD Date) -- This game is a remake of the popular episodic cell-phone KH series in Japan.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (Summer 2010)

The Tales of Bearsworth Manor: Chaotic Conflics (June 21, 2010) -- A WiiWare exclusive in which players toss paper bears into a picture book to reveal a mystery.

The Tales of Bearsworth Manor: Puzzling Pages (June 21, 2010) -- The simultaneously released games will reveal a larger mystery once both are completed.
