PC-Mac PasswordVault 1.0 secures passwords, more

Adelaide, Australia-based Lava Software has announced the release of PC-Mac PasswordVault 1.0. The software securely stores your passwords, software registration information and other sensitive data in a central repository.

The software uses 896-bit encryption to store its contents, which it hides from public view using a master password. If you forget the master password or prefer not to use one, PC-Mac PasswordVault can also use a series of customized questions to unlock your data.

PC-Mac PasswordVault can be used to store Web site access info like usernames and passwords, Internet banking data like account numbers and PINs, and software registration info like name and runtime key. You can also include additional notes related to various services -- URLs, e-mail addresses and other details. Once you've unlocked your data, you access the information using a pop-up menu, and information can be copied and pasted via the keyboard.

Distributed for US$14.95 ($27.26), you can download a free demo version for unlimited use (with limited functionality). Paying the registration fee enables you to download the current version of the software for all platforms and get free updates for a year.

Supported operating systems include various flavors of Windows, as well as Mac OS 8.1 or higher (Mac OS X is supported, including Jaguar).

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.

The Huddle Board’s built in program; Sharp Touch Viewing software allows us to easily manipulate and edit our documents (jpegs and PDFs) all at the same time on the dashboard.

The biggest perks for me would be that it comes with easy to use and comprehensive programs that make the collaboration process a whole lot more intuitive and organic
