DevFest AU, an Australia event for developers hosted by Google, will kick off in Sydney in June.
Running from 28 June to 2 July, the free event will focus on topics ranging from Google Wave to Chrome.
The mini-conference will feature local and international speakers, including Don Dodge, a global developer advocate at Google.
Google Australia's head of engineering, Alan Noble, has stated that the event is perfect for continuing the growing trend of Australian developers being on par with their international counterparts when it came to all matters Google-related.
"Australian software developers are creative, ambitious, and technically savvy. We're excited to get more of our tools in their hands, and then stand back and see what cutting edge products and services they will develop — for Australians and for a global audience," Noble said.
The event will be held in Google’s Sydney offices. For more information visit .
