Internode has partnered with with wholesale network operator OPENetworks to roll out fibre to the home (FTTH) services at a new real estate development in Victoria. The company is offering the broadband service to residents at Delfin Lend Lease's Lakeside Pakenham, 55 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD.
The ISP is offering 25, 50 and 100 megabits per second services. Internode product manager Jim Kellett has stated that the FTTH rollout was in the best interest of its customers. “By working with network operators on a range of platforms, we’re developing a deep understanding of what’s needed to make FTTH services really hum,” he said.
The company offers FTTH in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia through its partnership with OptiComm.
