Leaked Nokia N9 looks like MacBook Pro

Nokia's N9 smartphone rumoured to be running MeeGo OS

Images posted at Chinese site Tieba.baidu.com allegedly Nokia's latest N9 smartphone — and, Gizmodo notes, it looks like a slimmed down MacBook Pro!

Rumoured to be one of the first devices to run Nokia's new MeeGo operating system, the leaked photos of the N9 show it has a design very similar to an Apple MacBook Pro notebook. MeeGo is an open source, Linux project which brings together the Moblin project, headed up by Intel, and Maemo, by Nokia, into a single open source operating system that will be utilised on smartphones, notebooks and other communications devices. (Check out our review of the 1.0 netbook edition of MeeGo.)

The Nokia N9 appears to have an aluminium body and a glossy black bezel surrounding the screen. The N9 is a slider handset with a full QWERTY keyboard, so it should please those who want the combination of a touchscreen and physical keys.

Rumoured specifications include a 4in display and an 8-megapixel camera, but the details are pretty thin on the ground at the moment. Watch this space.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.
