FetchTV has revealed that it has signed up a third Internet service provider to its TV-over-broadband service. South Australian ISP Adam Internet will join iiNet and Internode in offering the service.
The service delivers 'linear' TV channels over broadband as well as free-to-air digital channels and pay-per-view offerings over a customer's Internet connection to a FetchTV set-top box.
Channels offered by the service include CNBC Australia, BBC World News, Fox Sports News, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Adventure, Baby TV, Discovery Turbo, Discovery Home & Health, TLC, Discovery Science, Animal Planet, E! Entertainment Television, MTV Music Television, MTV Classic and MTV Hits.
Greg Hicks, Adam Internet's chairperson, said: “FetchTV’s wholesale aggregation model is the ideal solution for Adam Internet, as it allows us to introduce a best in class technology and content proposition, at a very affordable price”.
Adam Internet customers can register their interest in the service on the ISP's Web site.
